. Grandma’s 80th. Another cake & another sweet, sweet story. ... Grandma is spending her pandemic days away from home. All her family is back in their home country and now it has come the time to celebrate her 80th birthday....alone. We’re getting used to it but gosh! These things still feel so hard! But we can always turn heartbreak into something loving, something good & something sweet. Grandson would send a big surprise for grandma. Balloons, flowers and a cake with what she loves the most: painting. Brushes, palettes, strawberries and a mini version of a grandma’s painting she made for her grandson. Distance won’t stop Grandma celebrate big. And her grandson is going to be there with her! It’s always a gift to me to share this stories and be part of baking a big smile!
