Busy Baking week for me! I’ve been making beautiful treats for some special friends this Thanksgiving ... Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I started Bake Beautiful because I LOVED creating roses... I was asked to create a bingo cake, and was given creative freedom.. I let my creative wheels turn and then it came to me... Beautiful Vintage Bingo! That’s how I would marry what I do with Bingo haha! I kinda couldn’t believe I found this incredible Bingo card, but it was exactly the inspiration I needed to create this beautiful cake. Inside is a Lemon cake with Lemon Creamcheese frosting and on the out side is my traditional buttercream adorned with all my famous roses... I couldn’t be happier with it, and I hope the two loved ladies enjoy celebrating their special birthdays with it.

Today I had the absolute honor of making this incredible wedding cake for a girl who has been so special to me since the day she came into my life. She is the little sister I always wanted and I felt so blessed to be able to share in her special day.... She looked absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to see all the happy days of her life yet to come... Congratulations my sweet Shelle Belle

My heart is so full! My very first official wedding cake... The beautiful bride and I searched Pinterest for inspiration, but then she finally just put it into my hands and trusted I would create something beautiful for the best day of her life. Nothing describes how important and meaningful it is that my art will now live on as a joyous memory for a lifetime. Hearing that the newlyweds were so pleased with their cake and that I was able to capture her dream is priceless. I’m very excited for this new venture and hope to continue achieving these special moments. Congratulations to the Bride and Groom, now go live happily ever after

.... THE COOPER LEE Ship cake for my newest little one... He’s my last baby and so his first birthday had to be the grandest finale of my children’s 1st birthday’s! I knew I wanted to go big and tackle a challenge so I crafted a Pirate Ship! The deck was actually all made of gingerbread and built like a gingerbread house. I’ll be honest, this took me almost a week to achieve, and took two people to move, but I was so proud of it when I finished. His smash cake was a treasure chest and he was the most precious pirate ever! ...

Birthdays at my house are never small and my kids take full advantage that Mom is a cake baker and I LOVE IT! ... THEY have helped me so much in tackling projects maybe I’d never get the opportunity to master ... here’s my daughter loving her cactus cake.... it was key lime on the inside .... Sky has always been the limit for my littles... remember I have 5 of them and celebrating their lives will always be my favorite

HOLD ON FORTNITE FANS! I’ve got a cake for that too ... WOW! This thing was out of this world and a very special request from my son.. MOM! He said you can make ANYTHING! Please, make me MR. TOMATO HEAD .... DONE! Happiest kid ever! I live for these kinds of smiles

The Make-Up cake! ...MAN! This one was a chance for me to prove to myself that I’m not limited to buttercream... ALL the make-up elements you see were handmade and it was so fun to see my little girls eyes light up when her dream cake came true!!!

This is the Lillyan cake.... Lillyan is my beautiful daughter and I made this for her 18th birthday... Oh My Gosh, It was sooo special. I poured my whole heart into it... Not only were the fresh flowers and fruit exquisite, but I candied lemon slices and dipped them in white chocolate too ... I’ve always believed in the details of things and seen how sometimes it’s the smallest of things that MAKE the project come to life ... This may be one of my very favorite cakes ever for so many reasons...

Ohhhh and look at this!!! This was for an incredible couple celebrating their 40th wedding Anniversary ... Nothing made me happier than to be asked to create something special for them #morethancupcakes

Happy Fall my friends... these months have been so long, but I’ve finally been inspired by the change of the season. Today, I wanted to share some beautiful fall flowers I had the opportunity to make... I’m excited to say that it’s rejuvenated my passion for what you all know I love doing... I miss your stories and being a little part of your special milestones ... I’ve actually booked 2 last minute weddings in the next two weeks and can’t wait to show you what I’m going to create... As you know, it’s always been cupcakes, but now, I’m going to show you what I can do with cakes Stay Tuned, haha!

I made this Sugar Egg for my parents back in 2018.... My mother sent me some photos of it on her dining room table this week. It has made me so happy to know that she has kept it safe in a case all this time. I made it completely out of sugar and royal icing and it’s still as beautiful as the day I gave it to them. Even though we won’t be able to share Easter together this year I am so glad that they have a beautiful reminder with them that I love them very much

Happy Snow Day my Cupcake friends! Today, I got to help a friend and her little boy show all his teachers at Christ the King how much he loves all that they do for him. I always tell you guys how much I love knowing your stories and how much it means to me to get to help with your special moments. I worked last night and into the early morning to complete this project, but each cupcake was its own little masterpiece. Quick storytime: This was my Spooky Skull Bouquet that I made in Oct. 2018. I was so excited to put this one together, not only because I had never done a spooky arrangement, but THIS bouquet was going to the owner of Mad Elizas’s ... For the first time, Peggy was going to see what I can do up close and so I pulled out all the stops to impress her. It was big deal to me, it had to perfect, and it had to nail my vision . I was very proud to take this to her Halloween party that year and to see her amazement as she looked it over. Her and I are good friends now, but I will always admire her talent and give her credit for being someone who gave me inspiration to look inside myself to make Bake Beautiful possible. #MadElizas Peggy Murnahan

Today is a special day!!! For a couple weeks now I’ve been dreaming of what to make today for the Topeka Collegiate Annual Gala’s dessert auction... Last year, I was honored to have my Chocolate Rose Bouquet featured, it was truly something I’m still proud of This year, I was delighted to be asked again! I’ve prepared something new I hope to WOW them with! I was given full creative freedom for this project and what I have created is exactly my hearts desire! I have another Sugar Easter Egg to share with you .... This one was made Especially for my Mother ... Easter is a very special time for our family and I loved including things I knew would mean a lot to her It was wonderful to see her eyes light up as she peered through the hole to find a beautiful Easter cross and her favorite Easter lilies. She absolutely loved it and I love her Happy Easter My Friends!

What’s Going On In My Kitchen Happy Spring Everyone! Easter is right around the corner and it got me thinking about some of my favorite holiday memories... Some of my very favorite were the coloring of Easter eggs and different craft projects my mom would help me with ... I then remembered a beautiful Sugar Egg my Grandmother had... It was so pretty to look at, all the frosting and the little scene I could peek inside to see. For a little girl, it was magical to ima...gine as I looked at this little world made of sugar... As you know I have little ones, so this year I decided we would make our own special eggs. This is the first one we’ve finished. I have had some amazing helpers and it’s been fun having them get to be apart of making them ... P.S. it’s also been pretty cute to see my older children realize how difficult it is to do what I do what looks easy usually isn’t haha!!... I hope very much to be able to teach them everything See more

So here’s the little guy who’s kept his Mama baker so busy I love this little guy! He has totally completed our family of 8! (yes, my husband and I together have 6 wonderful children)

So this is actually kind of a teaser post, because I really don’t do large cakes... I might some day if you twisted my arm HAHA!!!This however was a very special request from my little 3 year old ... It was my very first attempt at a stacked cake! She was over the moon and it was so much fun gobbling it up at her Big Birthday Party! Quite the center piece! TROLLS!

Good Afternoon EVERYONE!!! I missed sharing with you all these past few months Wow! So life has been super busy with my brand new little boy !! We are both doing fantastic and he’s even let me sneak in a few projects I can’t wait to post and share with you all... I am still in the process of balancing family and cupcakes, but I am open to take on a few projects now and then if my life with my new little guy will allow it !

I was so happy last Saturday when I stepped back and looked at the beautiful display... I was looking forward to this project for months and couldn't have been more proud of all the beautiful succulent and rosette cupcakes. This will be it for me for the next few months... I'm gonna spend the summer with my beautiful children and take care of this little one in my tummy. I'll be back in action in no time and it'll be exciting to see what new creations and ideas I come up with then! Have a wonderful Summer!

So I must share this fun little project I did for a long time friend ....As you all know Buttercream and Flowers is what I enjoy most, but I am not always limited to them... This little idea came down the line and I couldn't resist the challenge and I think they came out fit for a game of pool!

So I have been so excited to share with you All that my husband and I are expecting a baby!!! This little person will join our other 5 children haha! I couldn't wait to see the beautiful cake my friend made me for my announcement! My dear partner, Mimzy Cakes, did an outstanding job haha! What better way to say, There is a cupcake in my tummy oven, than with an awesome oven cake and a baby flower cupcake Haha! I Love it!
